Orientation week — what to capture, day by day

Whenever orientation starts at your campus, follow this. Open the day, read the brief, upload whatever you have — central takes it from there, and it goes on the wall too.

A reel that doesn’t count still stays in the feed for everyone to see — it just earns no leaderboard point.

Getting the link to a student’s Sunstone reel

This is a link to a student’s own post about Sunstone — their campus, classes, events or their experience here — from their own Instagram account. You’re only collecting the link, not posting anything yourself.
On your phoneEasiest way
  1. Open the reel in the Instagram app.
  2. Tap the paper-plane icon under the reel — the same one you’d use to send it to someone.
  3. Tap Copy link in the row of options.
  4. Come back here and paste it in the box.
On a computer
  1. Open instagram.com and go to the reel.
  2. Click the … menu on the post, then Copy link.
  3. Or just copy the whole address from your browser’s address bar.
A good link looks like this instagram.com/reel/DAbc123XyZ/
  • It has to be about Sunstone — their campus, classes, an event, hostel life, their journey here. A student’s unrelated reel doesn’t count and will be taken off the board.
  • The student’s account must be public — a private account shows up as “post unavailable” on the board.
  • Stories don’t work — they disappear after 24 hours. Reels and posts only.
  • Each reel counts once, so two campuses can’t submit the same one.
